The Site
This website was coded by hand, and should comply with XHTML and CSS standards, if I've done everything right. Behind the scenes, I'm using PHP to generate the pages, and MySQL to store all the dynamic content. I used Kate to write the whole thing. You may peruse the source code if you like, although what you'll find on the other end of that link is currently an older version of the code than what you see here. Taciturnity describes the state of being taciturn, and I thought it half accurate and half ironic for a blog.
The current site design has been tested in Firefox 2.x, Internet Explorer 7.x, Konqueror 3.5.x, and Opera 9.x. I like to call it "The alpha channel you've been craving." If it doesn't look like the image below, you might be using an out-of-date browser. If you're not sure how to update your browser, you can get the latest version of Firefox, which is great and free.
